About Us

The King's Kids Academy

We are a Christian Basic School located in Totimehkope, in the outskirts of Ada-Foah, the district capital of Dangme East District of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana, West Africa.
The King’s Kids Academy (TKKA), was founded in May 2000 to provide childhood development and basic education to children within the Ada-Foah community, a coastal community principally involved in fishing, fish processing farming and trading. By the nature of the job at hand, it is by necessity a labour of love, and one to which, as Christians, we are called.

Everyday at the The King’s Kids Academy is like a blessing with the active students and talented staff members around.

We strive for excellence through a hands-on approach. Rich traditions rooted in our innovative curriculum grow productive, caring, and intellectually curious citizens.

Our Core Values

We have a culture that is modern, relevant, and inspires students to have a brighter future. We are determined in our approach to learning, are creative in our thinking, and bold in our ambitions. These are our core values: Respect, Purity of Thought, Word & Deed, Service, Stewardship and Excellence

Our Philosophy

We, at The King’s Kids Academy, follow a child-centered educational approach. We make sure that it is based on scientific observations from birth to adulthood. We believe that a child is naturally curious and is capable of initiating learning in a supportive and thoughtfully prepared environment.
